Get down to John Mackintosh Square now - the entertainment has already started!

The arts and crafts market is already in full swing and live music, song and dance start at 6pm. The switching-on of the Christmas Lights at 7pm will be conducted by the Ministers Steven Linares and Samantha Sacramento, His Worship the Mayor Adolfo Canepa and Stephen Balban from St Martin’s School. Father Christmas and his elves will also be making a special appearance.

Programme of events at John Mackintosh Square include:

5.30pm to 7.30pm: Art and Crafts Market, mulled wine, port and mince pies

6pm: Santos Choir

6.10pm: Dance performances by Show Dance Company and Urban Dance

6.40pm: St Joseph’s School Choir

7pm: Switch-on Christmas Lights ceremony

7.02pm: Father Christmas special appearance

7.05pm: Sea Scouts Pipe & Drum Band
