Dec 03 - GSD Congratulates European Show Dance Championship Winner
The GSD Opposition extends its congratulations to Caitlin Rodriguez on her recent achievement in becoming the 2014 International Dance Organisation European Champion in the Children Solo Female division.
Indeed Gibraltar as a whole is extremely proud of all its participants at the International Dance Organisation European Championships where Gibraltar also performed in the Adult Solo Female Section, represented by Louise Gonzalez, who finished overall 14th position. Gibraltar also participated further by providing a judge, namely Seamus Byrne, for 15 out of the 19 categories at the competition.
Edwin Reyes, shadow spokesperson for culture noted that once again ‘Gibraltar has shown that for such a small nation it is able to achieve great things and punch above its weight. I also take this opportunity to wish the Gibraltar National Dance Organisation all the very best in its organisation of IDO Championships to be held in Gibraltar in October 2015.’
