Dec 08 - Privilege Holiday And Substitution Policy – Government Offices Will Be Closed On 2nd January
In accordance with established practice, the Chief Minister has approved the closure of all non-essential Government Offices on 2nd January 2015, which will be treated as a privilege holiday, given that it falls on a Friday.
Additionally, Government is pleased to announce that it has reviewed its policy on substitution and agrees to reduce the limitation period of five consecutive days. As from January 2015, officers substituting for a minimum of one full day will be entitled to claim remuneration for the period covered.
