Dec 09 - Gibraltar Defence Police Federation Launch Website
The Gibraltar Defence Police Federation has launched its website which can be viewed at www.gdpfederation.com. Together with the Public Site it also has a private Members area where the GDP Federation Committee wishes to promote improved communication with its Membership.
The GDP Federation Secretary said: "This is an exciting new development for our Federation and takes us into the 21st Century. Together with improved internal communication it will also give us a platform to raise our profile within EuroCOP and with other external stakeholders. We wish to thank the MOD Command in Gibraltar and the GDP SMT for their support in this venture. The GDP Federation would also like to thank Colin Hosken of the Gibraltar company Piranha Designs for his efforts in making this website a reality. Many of the ideas for the website were gathered from a visit to the British Transport Police Federation conference in York in March 2014. The contribution of Mr. Jonathan Sodi is also of note. His training as a media officer contributed to a website that is fit for purpose.”
