Feb 06 - Tree Replacement Programme Sees New Additions to Queensway Road
New trees will be planted along the border of Edinburgh Estate and Queensway Road as part of the Department of the Environment’s ongoing programme to replace dead or dying trees around Gibraltar.
New semi mature Red Gum trees will replace the row of Robinia Trees planted in the area in the late 1950s that are in very poor condition. The programme has also seen two semi mature Judas Trees planted along South Pavilion Road where two dead Eucalyptus were recently felled.
