Feb 16 - Fire Service Launches New Website

A new and updated website for the Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Service marks their 150^th Anniversary. Although they have had a web presence since 1998, the new 2015 site is based on the WordPress Version 4.1 open source platform.

The site allows readers to follow the latest news within the force, view new vacancies as they arise, marvel over the force’s photography via their Flickr account, learn about Training and Health and Safety and flick through an archive of statistics on fires, special services and false alarms.

The Service has also launched a Facebook page that will be kept up to date with the latest information, Fire Safety Campaigns, Social and Charitable functions and other public information.
