Mar 11 – Chief Minister In UK With Gib Regiment On Exercise Jebel Tarik
The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, travels to Thetford (Norwich) today to visit the Royal Gibraltar Regiment during UK training.
Regular and Territorial elements of the Regiment are carrying out their annual Exercise Jebel Tarik. The aim of the Exercise is to conduct challenging and realistic dry training and live firing to meet the respective mandated standards and enhance operational efficiency.
The Chief Minister is hosting a dinner for the Commanding Officer and Officers of the Regiment this evening. Tomorrow he will spend the whole day on exercise. Mr Picardo returns to Gibraltar on Friday.
