Jun 29 - New E-ID Cards Enrolment Process Begins – What Do You Need?
The process of enrolling for the new E-ID cards has now started.
This can be done in specially designated offices which are located by the Line Wall Road entrance to King’s Bastion Leisure Centre, and which are open from 08:30-19:30 Monday to Friday.
If you are simply renewing your card, just bring along your old ID card.
If you require any changes to be made to your new card, contact the Civil Registration offices at Joshua Hassan House, Secretary’s Lane.
The new cards are FREE OF CHARGE from today, 29th June, to the 30 September 2015 inclusive. After this period, a fee will be charged.
Those who are unable to travel to the Leisure Centre should await details of a roving unit which will assist them in this process.

Picture shows Minister Paul Balban renewing his ID card this morning. The Minister said he was happy with progress at the busy offices with around 400 new cards having been processed by midday.
