Jul 16 - Gibraltar Fire & Rescue Service Book Launch

To commemorate its 150th Anniversary, the Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Service will be launching a book titled “A Tradition of Service” written by Mr Richard J. M. Garcia MBE.

This book will encompass how the Fire Service has evolved since it was created back in the 1800s and how it continues to serve our community with professionalism and resilience.

The official launch ceremony will be taking place at the Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Service Social Club on Thursday 23rd July 2015 and will be attended by honoured guests.

The book will be available shortly after the launch at a number of local book shops and proceeds will be going towards the Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Charity Fund.
