Aug 21 - 250 Free Parking Spaces Now Available At Mid-Town Development
As part of the arrangements for this year’s Gibraltar Fair and National Week, 250 free parking spaces are now available to the public at the MidTown Development on a temporary basis.
The public are reminded that these are temporary parking facilities being made available to meet the increased demand for parking that Gibraltar always experiences during the Fair and National Week, whilst construction works at the site continue. In light of this, both the Gibraltar Fire Service and the contractor running the MidTown Development site have been consulted and all safety precautions as specified by them have been fully complied with.
The Minister for Transport, Paul Balban, said: ‘I am very pleased that we are able to provide these 250 parking spaces at the centre of town, free of charge. This will maximise the public’s access to, and enjoyment of, the fantastic Gibraltar Fair and National Week celebrations.’
