May 13 - Football Star Dennis Wise To Take Part In Premier Legends Tournament In Gibraltar
Mark Wright, the former Captain of Liverpool FC and England, has announced that football star Dennis Wise will be joining Neville Southall (Everton FC and Wales), Kenny Sansom (Arsenal and England) and David May (Manchester United) along with Wright at the all star Premier Legends Tournament to be held in Gibraltar Friday 20th and Saturday 21st May.
The Friday event will see top companies from all over Gibraltar inducing Grand Home Care (Main Sponsor), Bet Victor and EY compete against each other in a 5-a-side Tournament whilst being coached by the Legends.
The winning team will then play against the Legends in the final at Victoria Stadium. A dinner with the Legends and the teams will then be held at the Sunborn Hotel on the Friday evening.
On Saturday 21st May, nearly 200 children from across Gibraltar will take part in a once in a life time opportunity to be coached in an exclusive Academy Training session again at the Victoria Stadium.
Mark Wright said: “The two-day event is very exciting for us - we are looking forward to welcoming the Corporates and the Children to their respective days - all the Legends are really looking forward to it too.”
Dennis Wise, whose illustrious career includes Leicester, Chelsea and England said: “I’m delighted to be able to join Mark and the Premier Legends team in Gibraltar - I still enjoy a competitive game of football and I really enjoy coaching kids. To be able to give something back to enthusiastic kids and maybe even help them along a career in football is massive for me.”

Mark Wright, who is also a Foster Carer and adoptive parent will be using the visit by the Legends - in conjunction with the Government of Gibraltar - to promote the issue of the need for foster carers and adoptive parents in Gibraltar.
