Jul 13 - Launch Of The 2016 Summer Sports And Leisure Programme
This year’s Summer Sports and Leisure programme organised by the Gibraltar Sports & Leisure Authority (GSLA) and sponsored by NatWest started this week, attracting over 100 children and young people to Sports Train and Childrens Corner on the first day. In addition, the Stay and Play Programme is fully subscribed with addtiional facilities being organised to meet the demands of the programme.
Mr Reagan Lima, Chief Executive Officer of the GSLA and Mrs Michelle Turner, Sports Development and Training Officer will be escourting VIP visitors to several different elements of the programme on Friday 15th July, between 10.30am and 1pm. Visitors will include Steven Linares, Minister for Sports, Culture, Heritage and Youth, Mr David Bruce, Regional Head, Gibraltar, Mrs Gillian Balban, Senior Bank Manager and Mrs Kathy Walker, Service Quality Advisor representing longstanding sponsors NatWest and Mr Reagan Lima, Chief Executive Officer of the GSLA.
Itinerary to include:
11am - Children’s Corner.
1130am – Stay and Play Programme.
12 noon – Sports Train Activities including presentation of prizes for weekly awards at 12.15pm.
