Feb 19 - GFA Terminates Head Coach’s Position “By Mutual Agreement”
The Gibraltar FA has terminated Jeff Wood’s position as Head Coach of the National Men’s Team “by mutual agreement.”
The Technical Director will look after National Team affairs until a permanent appointment is made in advance of the UEFA Nations League in September.
The GFA says that Mr Wood will nonetheless remain in the GFA in a new role as Coach Education Manager. He will also assist the Technical Director as part of the GFA’s Elite Youth Development Programme which commences in March.
