Mar 20 - More Success In Special Olympics World Summer Games

 

After the penultimate day of the Special Olympics World Summer Games, Team Gibraltar, now has a total tally of seven gold, four silver and two bronze medals.

 

In the morning Daniella Vinent won a silver medal in the 400m race and Mark Dos Santos who came 6th place. 

 

Miguel Rubio also came 6th place in his 100m sprint final.

 

Shane Martinez won gold in the men's doubles bowling event with partner Samyr Anakkar.  

 

Douglas Pitaluga then won a gold medal in the swimming 100m freestyle.

 

Glenn Wimbleton came first in the equestrian dressage event, claiming Gibraltar's 7th gold medal. JJ Buttigieg came in 6th place.
