Cyclist To Ride From Gibraltar To North Cape
Wolfang Fasching, a previous winner of the Race Across America, will be taking on a new venture where he will cycle across Europe.
Wolfang Fasching aims to ride from Gibraltar to the North Cape, through Spain, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway in 12 days, leaving Gibraltar on 5th August.
Mr Fasching said: “I have had this idea buzzing around my head for a long time now! There are no GPS-data for our route and we will also have to take two ferries where my time gets stopped and then continues to run as soon as we arrive on the other side. Without these ferries we would have to take a route through Russia, which would mean a tremendous loss of time and unnecessary kilometres.”
