May 15 - GSD wish Hockey Teams Best of Luck

The Opposition Spokesman for Sports and Leisure, the Hon Edwin Reyes, has sent messages wishing the very best of Gibraltarian luck in all their competitions, to the two men’s and two ladies’ local hockey teams who will be participating in the following International Competitions over the next few days:

• 
  Eagles, participating in the Men’s’ Challenge I in Prague from 17^th to 20^th May.
• Grammarians, participating in the Men’s’ Challenge II in Athens from 16^th to 19^th May.
• Eagles and Hawks, participating in the Ladies Challenge III in Porto from 17^th to 20^th May.

 The message sent by the GSD’s Opposition Spokesman for Sports reads as follows:

“I take this opportunity to wish our very own Hockey players, males and females alike from four local clubs, the best of Gibraltarian luck.  I sincerely hope you both enjoy and benefit from these international experiences in the events at which you shall be competing, above all making us proud of your sporting performances on the field of play.”
