Jul 08 - GABBA Under 16 Men’s Team Takes the Gold
This weekend the Gibraltar Amateur Basketball Association achieved an outstanding result in the Under 16 European Championship C Division, which was hosted in Gibraltar.
The Under 16 Men squad was awarded Gold at the end of the tournament, with the Under 16 Women’s team achieving 4th place in their respective European Championship C Division.
Minister for Sport, Steven Linares congratulated the teams on their achievements. He thanked the players, coaches and all the hardworking individuals involved with GABBA for their efforts in helping to achieve ‘these exceptional results.’
Minister Linares also wished the best of luck to the GABBA Under 18 men and women squads travelling to Andorra next Saturday to compete in the U18 European Championship C Division.
