Gibraltar’s National Team will take on Estonia tonight at the Victoria Stadium as they continue to push towards the challenge of the UEFA Euro Qualifiers. Following Saturday’s defeat against the Faroe Islands tonight’ s line up has seen some slight changes with Anthony Hernandez moving out of the reserves and into the final line up.
Tonight will mark professional player Danny Higginbotham’s last game as a GFA player. Despite his retirement from football, the former Stoke defender has said that he will work with the GFA on the coaching side, in the run up and during the Euro qualifiers. Kick off will be at 8pm. Estonia will tonight achieve a notable European first, becoming the first national team to lay a senior game against all 53 fellow UEFA members.
