Mar 31 - Floodlight Explosion Stops Match At Victoria Stadium

Friday evening’s Premier League match between Lincoln and College Europa at the Victoria Stadium was stopped some 10 minutes before the final whistle after a small explosion occurred in one of the floodlights. The Fire Brigade was called and the stadium was evacuated.
Since Friday, all late evening fixtures at the stadium have been cancelled and will be played at a later date. Nobody was harmed and the GFA have yet to announce the dates and times of the rescheduled matches.
