May 08 - Platini to Present the Rock Cup this Weekend
UEFA President, Mr Michel Platini will visit Gibraltar this Saturday in order to view the Rock Cup final. He will be accompanied by Theodore Theodoridis UEFA Deputy General Secretary, Jean Francios Domergue Head of Football Development at UEFA and Kevin Lamour Head of President’s Office. The UEFA president will watch the final as ‘Guest of Honour’ and will be introduced to both teams prior to kick off. He will then present the ‘Rock Cup’ to the winners after the game.
During his time in Gibraltar Mr Platini will also pay the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo, a courtesy call, spend time with Gibraltar FA Council and dignitaries and meet the Presidents of local clubs.
