May 08 - Ministers Send Best Wishes to Special Olympics
The Ministers for Sport and Equality Steven Linares and Samantha Sacramento have sent their best wishes to the Special Olympics Football Team participating in the Gareth Cowin Memorial Trophy taking place in Liverpool this weekend.
The Ministers have also sent their thanks to the Chairperson and coaches of the Gibraltar Special Olympics Team for all their hard work and commitment in supporting and training the team.
Gareth Cowin sadly passed away in South Korea in the World Winter games 2013. Every year he looked forward to participating in SOG National Games where he competed in 5 a side Football.
