Jun 18 - GFA Clarifies UEFA European Futsal Cup Mix Up

The Gibraltar FA has today clarifed the point of European Qualification for Gibraltar domestic Futsal competitions based on incorrect reports.

They have said that, despite reports, the Winner of the Rock Cup does not qualify for European Competition.

The Gibraltar FA has only one slot available for the UEFA European Futsal Cup and this place will go to the winners of the league. At present this is still not decided as the playoff between the two teams in contention Gib Scorpions and St Josephs White will take place on Sunday the 22^nd June at 20:35 in the TerCentenary Sports Hall.

Reports in todays press are indeed incorrect and no position has changed relating to Futsal European Qualification. It remains as it was announced at the beginning of the season.
