The Chief Minister has sent his congratulations to Nathan Stagno who umpired Sunday’s Hockey World Cup final between Australia and the Netherlands at The Hague.
The Chief Minister said: ‘Nathan is clearly respected by the world’s best international teams and officials and he has reached the very pinnacle of a sport that is played throughout the world. Indeed, Sunday’s final was watched by millions of people around the globe and, as a consequence, Nathan has brought great credit and distinction to Gibraltar. We should all be very proud of him.’
