Jan 16 - Lions FC Reveals New Team Sponsor
Gibraltar’s Lions Football Club has announced their new main sponsor, Enterprise Insurance Company, the entity that also sponsors Leeds United FC.
The Gibraltar based company was established in 2004 by current group CEO Andrew Flowers. This Gibraltar based company has secured its position as a fully admitted EU insurer and successfully established a broad portfolio of insurance products spanning the requirements of several markets in the UK and Europe.
The football club was founded in 1966. CEO Mr. Flowers commented that it felt ‘only right that [they] should be involved in a solid team with a long history, and a proud history at that.’
He added, ‘“we are very pleased this 3 year deal has been agreed by us and the football club, providing the Club and it’s 12 teams, youth and senior, welcome funding in what are exciting times for football in Gibraltar. This deal we hope should help them this season and beyond, to continue the fine local footballing tradition and inextricably link the Club with one of the other great British teams that Enterprise also currently sponsor, the famous, Leeds United FC.’
The club has also released a mock up of their new kit, with Enterprise’s logo emblazoned on the front.
