Jun 01 - Minister Linares Congratulates Sebastian Desoisa
The Minister for Sport, Steven Linares, has sent his warmest congratulations to 8-year old Sebastian Desoisa who came second in his age group last week's European Championship event hosted by U.S. Kids Golf. The competition included fifty young golfers from all over the world.
After three rounds of nine holes, Sebastian was tied for first place, only losing to an American boy in the playoff. The Championship was held at the Longniddry course, near Edinburgh.
