The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, today met with the Foreign Secretary, Rt Hon Lord David Cameron, at the Foreign Office in London in order to discuss the outstanding issues and matters in the ongoing negotiation with the European Union in relation to Gibraltar.
The Opposition has said that it would have been obvious to anyone listening to the exchanges in Parliament on the power station and LNG, that the Government made the decision to locate a gas and diesel fired power station at the North Mole “without having any kind of risk assessment reports from experts on the supply and storage of LNG beforehand.”
The Government says that it considers that the only Members who should be ashamed of the way in which they are behaving in Parliament are the Opposition and, in particular, their current leader, Daniel Feetham.
