The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).
The Government has said that the Opposition “continue with their policy of scaremongering, a policy which proved to be a disaster for them at the last general election.” Number Six, in the latest exchange on Gibraltar’s post-Brexit future, adds that the GSD has clearly not understood that the people of Gibraltar have seen, and continue to see, “straight through their shallow and self- serving comments.”
Space 92 opens its doors to international artists and will host the exhibition ‘Signe sans Signe / Sign without Sign’ by the Moroccan painter Leila Cherkaoui. The exhibition is sponsored by Hyperion Solution Partners and GreenStar.
