The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, today met with the Foreign Secretary, Rt Hon Lord David Cameron, at the Foreign Office in London in order to discuss the outstanding issues and matters in the ongoing negotiation with the European Union in relation to Gibraltar.

The contract to install and supply the Port Authority’s new Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) system has recently been awarded to the Norwegian company Kongsberg Norcontrol (KNC), a world leader in VTS surveillance.
The GSD says that the Government has admitted that the £300 million is additional borrowing structured through Government owned companies. The party says that this now takes Gibraltar’s debt, inclusive of the borrowings by Government owned companies, to “in excess of an eye watering £1.1 billion.”
