The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, today met with the Foreign Secretary, Rt Hon Lord David Cameron, at the Foreign Office in London in order to discuss the outstanding issues and matters in the ongoing negotiation with the European Union in relation to Gibraltar.

The Chief Minister has said that Gibraltarians “instinctively know” it’s right to stay in the European Union. His comments came following his return from a trip to London during which he met with Europe Minister David Lidington and Foreign Office officials to discuss the upcoming EU membership referendum.
The Chief Minister has said that he is “confident” that there will not be any compulsory redundancies at the MoD once the global agreement runs its course next year.
