Are politicians above the law?

Now, I am no Bruce Treitman, but it doesn’t take his brains to figure out that what in essence the CM Fabian Picardo said on lasts night big reveal was that the previous government had not only mislead the public but would have continued to plunge Gibraltar into further national debt.

As I have said in my previous blog, if someone attempts to mislead a country shouldn’t that someone be held accountable, or are politicians above the law?

It is also my opinion that the priorities of the previous government where somewhat arse about face, with 59 million going into a tunnel that really isn’t going to see the light of day anytime soon, while all the time the KGV hospital looks as grim as a pre-fall of communism asylum.

Are we blind or just apathetic not caring one iota as long as it doesn’t affect us personally?

And what about our court system, where people innocent or not remain on remand for 18 plus months before they have their day in court.

If someone in the private sector ran their business like the previous government has been running our country the stake holders would be lined up with pitch forks and blazing torches calling for heads to roll.

If there have been any failings by either side, then as a person I urge you to question everything and demand an inquiry.
