RGP Donate Cash and Goods For Valencia Region

Donated goods and £1,000 are on their way to help people in the Valencia region following an appeal within the Royal Gibraltar Police.
Police Constable Amira Morillo Rodriguez organised the internal appeal two days ago following news of the devastating floods.
Bags of donated goods were collected at the International Police Association (IPA) Gibraltar Club with officers also donating cash to the appeal.
Among the donated goods are clothing, toiletries, food, water, baby food and cleaning products.
The donated goods are being driven up to Valencia this afternoon.
Following her appeal, the IPA Gibraltar Section also donated £500 with another £275 being donated by the RGP’s Charity Committee.
Amira, who works as a uniformed officer on Response Team 5, said: “Considering we only started the appeal two days ago, it’s been a good response. Thank you to everyone who has donated – any little amount helps.”
