May 30 - RGP - Theft & False Accounting Charges

Police have today charged local woman, Hortencia Chipolina, born on 14th March 1960, with four counts of theft totalling approximately £690,385 and one count of false accounting. The charges relate to the alleged theft of monies from the staff savings funds of a local company over a period of nine years.
Ms. Chipolina, who was arrested on the 9th May 2013, is being charged following an investigation by officers of the RGP’s Serious Crime Unit.
She has been bailed in the sum of £10,000 to appear in court on Friday 31st May 2013 at 10am.
