Jul 08 - Fifth Anniversary Of Chaima Slim’s Disappearance
Wednesday the 10th of July 2013 will mark the fifth anniversary of Chaima Slim’s disappearance. Chaima, who is now 24 years old, was last see walking across the Gibraltar frontier into Spain at around midnight of the 10 July 2008.
The Royal Gibraltar Police continue to carry out enquiries into her whereabouts and periodically review the investigation. Any new potential lines of investigation will be pursued.
Chaima continues to be listed worldwide as a Missing Person on Interpol’s databases. This means that the RGP will be alerted should any information come to light elsewhere.
Unfortunately no new information has been forthcoming during the past year. The RGP continue to appeal to the general public for any information concerning Chaima’s whereabouts, any person wishing to provide any information relating to her should telephone the Duty Officer at Police Headquarters on telephone No. 20072500. Alternatively they can call Women in Need on Telephone No. 20042581, a voicemail service is provided daily between 1500hrs to 0800hrs.
