Jul 05 - Summer Nights Line-up Announced
With Summer Nights set to begin next Thursday the Ministry of Culture has today announced the line up for the month long event. The Ministry has worked particularly hard with organisers ‘Fresh Events’ in order to provide a very entertaining programme.
The programme of events is as follows:
Thursday 18th July – Headwires, SPF and Guy Valarino
Saturday 20th July – Jestin, Nigel Ward, LED Goblet and Racs & Lima
Thursday 25th July – Jamie Zammitt and Dakris
Saturday 27th July – Jorge Gonzalez from ‘La Voz’, James Culatto and Mowtown Motel
Thursday 1st August – Jestin, ZZ Drums, Nigel Ward, Racs & Lima and Spherik
Saturday 3rd August – After Hours, Dance Shows and Fuse
Thursday 8th August – Swing Kings and Gibraltar’s Got Talent finalists
Saturday 10th August – Zumba and Dance Shows
Thursday 15th August – The Noiz, Jetstream and Orange Peel
Saturday 17th August – Hollie Buhagiar, Gemma Rocca, 60’s Tribute Band and 3 Days to Rise. Each evening will begin at 8:30pm.
The evenings will also include face-painting, bouncy castles and other child friendly activities. Commenting on the Summer Nights programme, Culture Minister Steven Linares noted, ‘It gives me a great pleasure to announce the 2013 Summer Nights. The varied programme lined up for 5 weeks that comprise this year’s Summer Nights will, I am sure, provide entertainment for all.
I would like to thank the organisers and all those groups, associations and individuals, who will be taking part in the different events and, in so doing, are providing Gibraltar with a diverse selection of quality entertainment.
