Feb 05 - Royal Academy’s Summer Art Exhibition And National Portrait Gallery BP Portrait Award
The Ministry of Culture in conjunction with Gibraltar Cultural Services, as part of their development programme, will once again be supporting all Gibraltarian artists who take part in the Royal Academy’s Summer Arts Exhibition or the National Portrait Gallery BP Portrait Award.
The artists need to submit digital images of their artwork. Out of the thousands of entries, a number will then qualify for the second round. Local artists who qualify will have to send their original artwork to the UK.
The Ministry of Culture is committed to support those artists who qualify for the second round by reimbursing any expenses they incur in sending their artworks to UK.
Full information on how to take part in these competitions can be viewed on: www.royalacademy.org.uk and http://www.npg.org.uk/whatson/exhibitions/bp-portrait- award-2015.php
Any further information on the reimbursement of costs may be obtained on T: 20075669 or E: [email protected]
