A statement from GCS follows below:
Gibraltar Cultural Services, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, is delighted to confirm Joe Stilgoe and the Big Band with a spectacular concert at St Michael’s Cave on the 9th October 2025.
Joe Stilgoe is an internationally acclaimed singer, pianist and songwriter or, as described by The Guardian, a ‘Musical virtuosity with a swashbuckling stage presence’. He has released nine albums, five of which have topped the UK Jazz chart. He is a true modern-day entertainer, known globally as a performer of wit, style and a level of musicianship which has seen him recognised as one of the best singer-pianists in the world. Always searching for a new way of bringing not only his own songs but those he loves from the past to a new audience, he is an enticing mix of his heroes Danny Kaye, Nat King Cole and Dudley Moore.
The Minister for Culture, the Hon Christian Santos MP GMD, said: ‘The aim of the concert is creating further support for the arts and for the Ministry’s tourism-led event strategy. I am confident that the event will be a celebration that only serves to enrich Gibraltar’s dynamic and diverse community.’
Tickets priced at £30 will on sale as from 17th June 2025 on Buytickets.gi. For further information please contact GCS Events Department on telephone: +350 20067236 or email: [email protected]
