July 03 - Government Publishes Gazette On Recycled Paper
03 July 2013
In line with the environmental policy of the Government, the Gibraltar Gazette is now being printed on recycled paper.
This follows the joint intervention of the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia and the Minister for the Environment Dr John Cortes.
The additional cost per quarter to print the Gazette on recycled paper is £75 - £150 more than it would cost to print on standard paper. This is based on the actual printing costs for the first three months of this year. The actual printing continues to be done under the terms agreed by the previous administration but instead will be on recycled paper.
A spokesperson said: “The Government is delighted to be able to lead by example in this regard.”
