Jul 08 - Gibraltar Mentioned in Spanish National Security Report
08 July 2013
Cabinet Director for the Spanish Government, Jorge Moragas, is tomorrow set to present a report at the National Security Strategy Congress 2013. Europa Sur reports that the document was approved by the Spanish Government at the end of May. Within the report, Gibraltar is once again referred to as ‘an anomaly in Europe’ and the breaking point between two allied countries.
Sr. Moragas will appear before the Constitutional Committee of the Lower House, to explain the document, which has the political support of the PSOE. It contains lists and accounts of terrorism, organised crime, economic and financial insecurity and now espionage and the vulnerability of maritime space.
