Aug 16 - Picardo Victim Of Twitter “Death Threats”
16 August 2013
The Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and his family have been the victims of death threats from Spanish activists over the past few weeks. The threats have reached him via the social media platform Twitter and relate to the current dispute with Spain.
According to Sky News, Twitter trolls have attacked the Chief Minister because of his criticism of the Madrid government.
This follows the news earlier this week that Conservative MEP Julie Girling had also received online abuse for calling for a boycott on Spain.
