Unite the Union says it would like to make its views public in respect of the process that has been undertaken whereby allegations of bullying and harassment towards 35 Government trainees, Grads, and staff by a senior manager within the Civil Service have been investigated.
Professor Ryszard Żelichowski yesterday visited Albert Poggio GMH OBE, the UK Representative for the Government at the Gibraltar Office in London to present his latest book “Gibraltar”.
The Government has confirmed that the internal investigation into allegations of bullying at the ETB is in its final stages and the results are expected to be available to it by mid- May.
The GSD has called on the Government to make public the results of any investigation that has been conducted regarding the allegations of bullying made by the 35 trainees at the ETB; failing this, the GSD asks what stage the investigation has reached, considering that these allegations date back to the early part of last year.
A Special Report on the EU and Gibraltar has featured in the April edition of the EU Parliament Magazine. The report is comprised of articles by the Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, the Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Joseph Garcia, and Members of the European Parliament of a variety of nationalities. It focuses on the cross-border tensions created by Spain, and the unwarranted and detrimental impact that this has on Gibraltar’s EU membership.
