Sep 26 - Deloitte Hosts The Third Annual Gibraltar Insurance Seminar
The ever-popular third Deloitte Insurance Seminar, which will be held on the Sunborn this coming Thursday 29th of September starting at 08:30, will consist of half a day of updates and discussions on topical insurance issues which are having an impact on the Gibraltar industry.
A wide range of speakers, including the Government, the FSC and industry experts, as well as Deloitte specialists from Gibraltar and the UK, will give their views on diverse topics affecting the future of the industry.
The keynote presentation is the Annual Deloitte Report for 2015 on the performance of Gibraltar and UK motor insurers. It’s an eagerly awaited end of year report on the motor insurance sector. The agenda is also split between looking at the Current Position and then at the Future outlook. Minister Isola will open the event.
The seminar will also include an update from the FSC including progress on Solvency II, an M&A update discussing the key headwinds and tailwinds including capital and the potential impacts of Brexit.
There will also be further presentations on new innovations in the motor market and a round up of indirect tax developments.
Deloitte expect an interesting and lively debate on the current, and future state of the Gibraltar market. The event concludes with informal drinks to provide a networking opportunity for attendees.
