Action For Housing Welcomes Reclamation Announcement

Action for Housing have welcomed the Chief Minister’s reclamation project which was announced during yesterday’s New Year Message.
A statement from Action for Housing follows below:
Action for Housing welcomes the announcement made by the Chief Minister in his new Year message last night in which he confirmed that a reclamation project is going to be started soon and on which Government homes for rental will be built. This is very good news for those who are on the housing waiting lists and who are unable to partake on the so called affordable housing schemes. Some of these applicants who are on the social list or on the Medical list will also be able to benefit from this long awaited project.
We now look forward to the further announcement regarding the number of housing units to be built as well as the datelines for the reclamation works and the actual construction of the flats.
