Ministers Visit St Martin’s School

Today on World Autism Day, the Minister for Disabilities, Christian Santos, accompanied by the Minister for Education, John Cortes, paid a familiarisation visit to St Martin’s School.
The Ministers were shown around the school by Head Teacher Priscilla Cruz and engaged with pupils and staff during the visit.
Minster Cortes said: ‘I visit our schools on a regular basis and always enjoy talking to and observing the exceptional work being done by our teachers and school staff. They are the foundation of our education system. I was very happy to welcome my friend and colleague Christian Santos today.’
Minister Santos said: ‘Today’s visit was an opportunity for me to see first-hand the excellent work being carried out at St Martin’s School. This Government is committed to provide the best possible opportunities for our children with learning disabilities and the recent improvements at St Martin’s School are a prime example of this.’
