Bossano to Address UN Special Committee of 24

Minister Bossano has travelled to Dili, Timor-Leste this weekend to attend a regional seminar of the UN Special Committee of 24.
The seminar will run from the 21st to the 23rd May and will deal with the implementation of the Fourth International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism on the theme “Pathways to a sustainable future – advancing socioeconomic and cultural development of the Non-Self- Governing Territories”.
Minister Bossano will be addressing the seminar directly, on behalf of HM Government of Gibraltar, to defend Gibraltar’s right to self-determination and to express Gibraltar’s continued full commitment to the principle of decolonisation.
