The Ministry of Equality’s Supported Needs and Disability Office (SNDO) today were on location at John Mackintosh Square (The Piazza) engaging with the community, offering advice and guidance. This drop-in service allowed individuals to receive immediate support without the need for prior appointments. 

The SNDO will continue to be present at The Piazza on Mondays from 10am to 2pm, and on Wednesdays from 10am to 2pm outside the Hospital throughout the month of November, providing a welcoming space for those seeking assistance. 

The key goals of the SNDO's on-location service include signposting individuals to relevant resources, providing advice and helping fill in necessary forms. This approach ensures that members of the community are well-informed about their rights and available services, enhancing their ability to navigate the challenges they may face. The SNDO's commitment to being accessible and approachable is reflected in the drop-in format of its services. 

For those unable to attend the on-location clinics during the scheduled hours, the SNDO offers alternate options. Individuals can visit their premises located at Europort, Building 9, Floor 5 between 8:30am and 2pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during November.
