Feb 18 - Small Boats Marina Project Underway
During the February session of Parliament held on Friday, whilst responding to Opposition questions Minister Neil Costa noted that Chris Ridell had been appointed Project Manager for the Small Boat Owners Project.
The inter-ministerial Committee in charge of the matter is made up of Justice Minister Gilbert Licudi, Environment Minister Dr. Cortes, Employment minister Joe Bossano and Tourism and the Port Minister Neil Costa.
Minister Costa explained that Mr. Ridell shares the support of the Captain of the Port, the Chief Technical Officer and Technical support and the Ministry of the Environment.
Minister Costa also claimed that plans have been drawn up for the small boats marina. A wave study is currently being carried out, with the project still being in the technical assessment phase. Geotechnical and bathymetrical surveys have also been commissioned.
