June 05 - RGP Will Police Legal Changes Following Fishing Report “Accordingly”
05 June 2013
The Commissioner of Police notes the publication and content of the fishing report: “The Active Management of Marine Living Resources in the Waters around Gibraltar” and the related press release issued on the 4th of June by the Government.
The Commissioner considers these to be a continuation of the process initiated by the Government in May of 2012 to resolve the fishing dispute and now expected to culminate in autumn of this year. Future regulatory or legislative changes arising from the Government’s consideration of the report’s recommendations will be policed accordingly.
