Dec 11 - Cycling Proficiency Courses
The Royal Gibraltar Police School Liaison Officers have completed a series of cycling proficiency courses at local schools. The courses which ran through October and November of this year form part of the RGP’s community engagement and road safety programmes. The courses follow the Right Track Cycling Awareness Programme of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.
The participating schools were Bishop Fitzgerald School, Sacred Heart School, the Hebrew School, St Joseph’s School and St Anne’s School. A total of 54 Year 6 students successfully completed the course.
The certificates were presented by the acting Commissioner, Superintendent Ian McGrail at a reception held on Monday the 9th of December.
The officers delivering the courses were PCs Simon Debono, Terence Martinez and Daniel Rodriguez.
