The Care Agency has organised a two day leadership course for management commencing today. The course is being delivered by Rainmaker Coaching, a company which specialises in all aspects of Management and Leadership Skills.

Over the next two days those attending will be enhancing their management skills by achieving the following objectives:

- How to manage and lead people more effectively by looking at ‘what is management?’

- Managing communication and the importance of good communication and approaches to communication

- Managing performance through an appraisal system and performance frameworks

- Building Effective Teams by motivating their teams and encouraging active participation of team members

The course trainer has many years experience in management and in teaching of management skills. The ultimate aim is to equip managers with up to date practical ways to motivate and engage their teams to deliver high standards of care to all service users.
