Feb 03 – Justices Of Appeal Sworn In
03 February 2015
On the advice of the Judicial Service Commission and after consultation with the Minister for Justice, His Excellency the Governor has today sworn in the Right Honourable Sir Jonathan Parker (pictured below) and the Right Honourable Sir Maurice Kay (pictured left) as Justices of Appeal, in accordance with section 57(2)(a) of the Constitution.
Sir Jonathan Parker has been reappointed following the expiration of his warrant on 31st December 2014. Sir Maurice Kay replaces Sir William Aldous who resigned on the 31st December. Both appointments will be for a term of five years.
